Mushroom Log Making Workshop
Get on the tools and get hands-on making your own Shiitake mushroom log at our outdoor mushroom log-making workshop.
This practical class will teach you all about the ancient mushroom cultivation technique of log making. Drill the holes, hammer in the mushroom dowels and seal them up with wax, all the while being guided by expert growers Mickey and Amy.

This will be a fun and interactive morning exploring and foraging around the farm for common plants that can be used to make gut-friendly meals, gut-building ferments and gut-soothing teas that improve your gut health and enhance your overall wellbeing and vitality.
Winter Farm Tour
We would like to welcome you for an introductory tour to showcase the farm in its winter stage. Come along for a chat and a walk through our patch, looking at various crops, farming methods, composting and the ways in which our farm interacts with the surrounding neighbourhood, demonstrating the potential of urban farming.
Introduction to Microgreens
In this workshop learn to grow, care for and harvest a range of herbs and vegetables sprouted in trays from seed. Generally taking between 7-14 days from planting to harvest, growing microgreens is a fantastic and relatively simple way to provide yourself with fast growing, nutritious and abundant greenery for your everyday meals.
Everything Tomato
This intensive workshop will teach you everything you would ever want to know about growing tomatoes in Brisbane. From preparing the soil and planting, to pruning and feeding, and even harvesting and preserving the bounty. With care, attention and the right technique, tomato plants can provide you with fresh tomatoes for months on end. Our aim through this workshop is to share with you everything we have learnt about our all time favourite crop to grow.
